These days I spend most of my time building websites for all kinds of clients from major publishers to small businesses, charities and independent artists. I also do traditional print-based graphic design.

My speciality is making lovingly crafted, hand-coded W3C standards-compliant XHTML and CSS templates for the web, usually painstakingly put together from designs made in Photoshop, working either with other graphic designers or from designs that I have made myself.
I have recently been getting in to the WordPress blogging tool which has meant re-discovering the joys of PHP through manipulating themes, so it's been an interesting time and a fairly steep learning curve of late. I'm also exploring bits of AJAX and learning how to manipulate l'il things like this lovely sliding div from MooTools ...
Part of my mission is that I am slowly re-designing a new and improved interface for this site, which will include a gallery page for some of the photographs, paintings, and drawings I've made over the past few years, so keep watching this space. It can all change!
